1. What is your name? What is the name of your business?
My name is Tatiana Cole and I'm a Success Coach at tatianacole.com.
2. What inspired you/encouraged you to start your business?
I always wanted to be a life coach but waited two years before finally pursuing it. After months of researching different certification programs, I joined a direct sales company instead. I enjoyed the sisterhood and being of service to my clients who benefited from the product. I was in direct sales for a year and did well but knew that God wanted me to go into life coaching. One day, I made the decision to quit my direct sales company. I sold all of my inventory and business supplies within two days and decided to pursue life coaching.
At the time, I knew so many ladies with incredible ideas for a passion project, side hustle, new initiative in their household, career change, etc. but something was holding them back from moving forward. Now, I enjoy helping ladies take action on their goals that they've put on the back burner so they can finally do the things that they love.
3. What do you love about your work?
I love getting to know my clients whether through one-on-one coaching our a group program. It excites me to hear all about their wants and dreams. I'm right there cheering them on and doing the work so they can reach their goal. The ah ha moments and positive change from just one phone call, or even 30-90 days of working together are incredible and motivating to continue serving women on a mission.
4. What advice do you have for others wanting to start a business?
I say go for it! As a Jesus believer, I also say to ask God first. He will direct your path and your next steps. If you had this business idea for some time now and it keeps coming up for you year to year, it's never going to go away until you just do it.
5. What do you do to take care of yourself and how do you make time to do it?
It's definitely a balancing act with a full time job, wifey life, and two small kids. I like to schedule my priorities instead of prioritizing my schedule. I block off weekends ahead of time so I don't make plans. I have an incredible husband who is my champion and life saver. He helps me out tremendously and lets me know when I'm doing too much so I can pull back.
I also love a good girl chat on the phone during my commute, grabbing a coffee, going to a performing arts show, or traveling out of state with my family.
6. What can we do to support you in the community?
I'm hosting free meet ups for mom bosses of Western Mass to get together to share our successes and challenges of making it all work as a mom and having a business or side hustle. I encourage you to follow my Facebook business page @revitalizeher and on Instagram to find out about the next meet up. I am also available to host vision board parties where folks leave with a "make it happen" action plan. 7. Favorite spot to go around town?
I would say the library. I go there with my kids a lot but also for some quiet time to get some biz stuff done and check out the events going on around town. I definitely enjoy checking out the local restaurants and businesses in Western Mass too.
