The New The Elf On The Shelf Menu Is Now At IHOP

My family loves to go out to breakfast together. It's pretty simple. We're foodies who are always ready and willing to try new things! It's also no secret that I occasionally like a break from cooking and cleaning. What a treat it is to sit down and have someone bring me a hot cup of coffee while I relax and connect with my husband and son. Recently, we were able to do just that at IHOP while we bonded over their new THE ELF ON THE SHELF menu.

We found out that IHOP and Elfie are serving up some fun limited-time meals for kids of all ages through January 1, 2020. After examining the special menu, we ordered fluffy green pancakes called Jolly Cakes that have a super yummy sweet cream cheese icing, whipped topping and elf sprinkles that resemble elf-sized ornaments! My son insisted we get the crispy Oh What Funnel Cakes dusted with powdered sugar and topped with fresh glazed strawberries, whipped topping and shimmery elf sprinkles. He has only heard of having Funnel Cakes at The Big E Fair so this impressed him a lot. Which says so much because he's 12!

He and I even did cheers with our mugs of rich and creamy Merry Marshmallow Hot Chocolate piled high with whipped topping and shimmery elf sprinkles. Everything was served warm, looked adorable and festive and tasted sweet and paired really well with our savory sides of bacon. Next time we plan to bring my nephew who is studying at Springfield College and has a big appetite! I know he'll want to try the Holiday Ham & Sausage Omelette. It's overstuffed with meats and veggies and topped with cheese sauces. Enough to fuel him through finals.

It's time to celebrate the return of your Elf and if you so happen to be a kid that is 12 or under, you can also enjoy these new menu items for FREE during 4 PM – 10 PM every day. Breakfast for dinner anyone? Take a break from turkey leftovers and connect with your family at IHOP. The kids will be on their best behavior and you'll have someone waiting on you. That's a win-win!
