Tinkergartenis now enrolling for fall sessions! Meetups will be held at the Little Red Schoolhouse in East Longmeadow. In the event of inclement weather, classes will be held indoors.
Tinkergarten is an excellent way to get the kids outside and engaged in learning about nature. Facilitators lead the children in various activities (and cleanup!). Parents are expected to stay for the duration of the class and are encouraged to engage in the activities also, but if you need to check your email or take a call - that's okay, too! When I have taken my kids to Tinkergarten, they are so engaged in the activities that I am hardly needed --- a welcome break from the daily chorus of "Mom! Mom! Mom!"
